Velociti Catalyst is the world's first 100% biodegradable synthetic tennis string. Environmentally conscious players of all levels will enjoy this high-performance polyester string.
Catalyst is a hexagonal co-polyester that provides an excellent pocket feel. It received high marks from RSI Magazine for durability, spin production and control. The Velociti-Bio technology featured in the string has added benefits of improved tensile and knot strength.
Velociti-Bio technology expedites the decomposition process, allowing Catalyst string to biodegrade 100x faster than other synthetic tennis string. Whereas other synthetic tennis strings take 400-600 years to decompose, Velociti Catalyst biodegrades in just 3 to 5 years. (The string will not start to decompose on your racquet. Specific microbes found in landfill are required to start the decomposition process.)
