Since its introduction in 2007, the GEL-RESOLUTION^® series has been a staple for tennis players looking for comfort and stability at the baseline. This year, we introduced the new shoe, reimagined with updated technology, premium cushioning, and even more support. Here’s what to expect in the latest iteration.

Sizing, Fit, and Feel

First things first: the GEL-RESOLUTON^® X shoe may feel different than previous versions—more spacious for men, but snug for women. If upgrading from the GEL-RESOLUTION^® 9 shoe, men may prefer sizing down a half size, while women may prefer sizing up a half size. 

Once you’ve found your size, it’s easier than ever to get a personalized fit thanks to the new DYNALACING™ system. This customizable system adds four additional eyelets on the lateral side of each shoe to help you get a secure, locked-in feel.

Next, the shoe's updated DYNAWALL™ technology has been updated to deliver enhanced flexibility in the forefoot. It also extends from the lateral (outside) of the foot and wraps around the heel, improving stability and support during side-to-side movements.

Finally, the medial (inside) ankle collar is raised higher than previous versions, providing a cushioned layer of protection against scrapes on the court.

The GEL-RESOLUTON^® X shoe proves that advanced stability doesn’t mean sacrificing comfort. New for this version is FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning, borrowed from our running styles and reengineered for tennis. This updated foam combines with GEL^® technology in the forefoot for a softer foot strike and improved impact absorption.
